Peanut Butter Balls

I have been seeing these being featured all over fitness blogs, Instagram, Twitter, you name it they're everywhere!
Now, I don't know about you but I LOVE peanut butter and when I first saw these, my jaw dropped at how delicious they looked.

I knew I had to make them, so finally this afternoon I had some spare time to give them a try :)

I was rather impressed with my first attempt at making these, I know that generally they're supposed to be "mini" balls, however I was too impatient and eager to eat them so I made large ones instead ;)

I used a recipe that I found on the food network website which you can find here but alternatively you can follow any online recipe's for "Peanut butter balls".
They're really easy to make and the prep time is only 10 minutes. I used crushed almonds and walnuts to coat them and after 20 minutes in the fridge they were ready to eat. This recipe made 15 balls, however I'm assuming that smaller portions could make between 20 and 22.

Next time, I will definitely stick to making smaller portions as I couldn't manage more than two consecutive balls...Oops!

How about you, do you like PB balls?

If you give this recipe a try, let me know how you got on :)

Benefit "Brow Zings" Eyebrow Kit Review

Hey :)

I know it's a bit late but here I am with another post.

In my last blog post I spoke about my favourite mascara and told you about my love for long lashes. So this time I thought why not stay in theme and speak about eyebrows?

Before I begin let me say that I know that this brow kit is kind of old and a lot of bloggers have rambled on about it for quite some time. However, since I am new to blogging I thought it would be a good idea for me to give it a try so that I could give you my review.

For those of you who aren't familiar with it, this is what it looks like:

Now, let me say that before using this kit I was completely inexperienced with eyebrows. I love long "fake" looking eyelashes but I'm not a fan of obvious fake looking "slug" eyebrows.

As a beginner, I wasn't willing to invest into new eyebrow brushes so I was looking for something which was easy to use and that would have everything I needed.

This benefit kit really did tick both of those boxes. The packaging is small and sleek- which is perfect as you can fit into an every day make up bag. It also comes with a hard-angled and blending brush, tweezers and a little "lesson" guide to tell you how to use it.

On my first trial I had literally given myself an extra 20 minutes spare time to do my make up because I thought it would take me a long time. However, it took me just under 5 minutes to do.

I would really reccommend this kit for first-time users as it really has the essentials that you would need.

I chose to go for the "dark" shade as my eye brows are really dark however if unsure it's best to ask the make up consultants at the Benefit counters.

Most Benefit counters offer to do your make up or even have your eyebrows done. So if you were looking to treat yourself, this could be an option to go for so that you are sure to have the right colour.

In terms of value for money - At 34,99 euros/ roughly £28.00 I would say that it is fairly good. You only really need a tiny bit of product and it honestly is easy to use. So for those of you who don't mind spending a little bit more to have natural looking eyebrows this is a good one to try.

Thank you for reading this post and I  hoped it helped :)

My go-to Mascara

Hello again :)

As promised here I am with my second blog post.
This is a particular favourite of mine because as you can see from the title it's all about MASCARA.

Being a sucker for long eyelashes has made mascara an essential make-up item for me. I could give up all other make-up if I had to but I could never give up on mascara.

Since I began wearing make-up, mascara is the one thing I have invested a lot of money on in order to find the "perfect" one that works for me. Now believe me, I have tried them ALL, from high end designer mascara like YSL and Dior, to cheap drug store ones like Miss Sporty. However, the ONE I have bought over and over again is the 'L'Oreal Mega Volume Collagene 24'.

I don't know what it is about this mascara but it really works wonders for me. It does exactly what it says on the package and gives my lashes lots of volume and great length without clumping!

It comes in an a fairly big size at roughly £10,99 and I find that it is very long lasting. I can generally get two to three months use out of it before it starts to dry up - making it perfect, as you shouldn't be using the same mascara longer than 3 months anyway.

I have recommended this mascara to all of my friends and most of them have loved it too!

For those of you who love the good ol' spider leg lashes without them looking trashy, this is definitely one to try out ;)

How about you, what is your favourite mascara? If you have any recommendations to make on volumising and lengthening mascaras then comment them down below :)

Hello there and welcome to my blog :)

As you can see this is my first ever post. I am super excited to start this new adventure into blogging. I have wanted my own blog for a long time for over 2 years now but I have never had the courage to actually post anything. So here I am, finally taking the plunge!

My aim is for this blog to become my little place where I can share and talk about what I love. Beauty plays a huge part in my life. It's something I can't really begin to explain but when I enter a beauty store everything else around me no longer exists. It just makes me extremely happy!

I love trying out new beauty products and recently I have grown a passion for making my own beauty treatments, such as hair and facial masks. I enjoy hearing what other people enjoy using as well as sharing my own thoughts and giving advice to others.

I know that there are so many of you out there who have a passion for all-things beauty and generally hearing about other people's lifestyles. If you're one of those people, then keep an eye on this blog as I have lots of exciting content I will be blogging about in the coming weeks.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and see you soon.
